Famine - Recording Complete
The highly anticipated, long awaited and demonstrably classic album from Hateful Abandon has been completed. Recording finished Sunday 7 September. Two tracks are now available to hear on the Hateful Abandon Myspace Page.

Well, it’s finished. The final tracklist for “Famine (or Into the Bellies of Worms)” is as follows -

6. Painters Rope

Keep an eye out for release details in he coming weaks (sic).
Meanwhile, there are two new tracks for you to mull over. The punk goth “Painters Rope” and epic lounge hit “Avalanche” will ensure that your summer dies the death that it’s so obviously been begging for.

To those following the progress of Les Discrets first release — there have been many discussions about this, the current proposal is a combination of new recordings (including some you’ve already heard, some from an older project which had Neige on bass) and older recordings in their original form, spanning the past 6-7 years.

At this time you will find the two tracks that have been available on the official site for a while. Below these you will find two unreleased tracks from 2005. We did post these as mp3s a few years ago and after a thorough search through the old files found these and some old photos. Devil Meat and Rotten Harvest have been remembered by many that heard them originally, enjoy once again!
A recording date has been set with the real intention of completing the highly anticipated and long delayed debut album. More news soon.

Ghast on BBC Wales
GHAST unveiled another track from the forthcoming album “May the Curse Bind” last Sunday on BBC Radio Wales, closing the evenings programming. You can hear the epic, sinister Black/Doom track “Pale Robe” at the very end of the show. Listen to the show here (around 2hr 53). If the link does not work it is available on the ‘BBC iPlayer’. This is the only way to hear Pale Robe right now, and will probably be replaced by the latest show tomorrow (Sunday 15th).
